We introduced the Lakeway area’s first week-end kid’s clothing consignment event to Morristown 10 years ago. After traveling to middle Tennessee twice a year for seasonal consignment sales, we decided Morristown moms needed the luxury of buying and selling their quality used children’s clothing and other “kid” related items. Our first sale brought 42 new consignors to Sweet Repeats in the former Holmes Shoe Store on Main Street in Morristown, Tennessee. We quickly outgrew our space and began looking for a larger store. Our semi-annual sale was briefly held in the former Parks-Belk building before moving to our current location at the West Hamblen County Volunteer Fire Department in Talbott, TN.
We have been blessed to meet so many moms and their families. It has always been our goal to provide excellent quality merchandise at affordable prices. We receive so much joy from providing this service to the young moms and young families in our community. After each sale many of our consignors donate their unsold items, which we in turn donate, to charities near and far. We have donated infant items to the local pregnancy crisis centers in Morristown and Jefferson City. We also have donated to local church clothing closets for youth and to the Youth Emergency Shelter in Morristown. A couple of times we have had the opportunity to donate unsold clothing and toys to missionaries traveling abroad. God has truly blessed this sale, our community and our families. We now have nearly 300 consignors and continue to grow year after year. We are very thankful for each of you!
